Tianci Materials' revenue in the first half of the year was nearly 8 billion yuan

On the evening of August 14th, Tianci Materials (002709) issued multiple announcements, including plans to issue GDR to raise no more than 5.98 billion yuan for its main business, termination of the Czech Tianci annual production of 100000 tons of lithium battery electrolyte project (Phase I), and release of the 2023 semi annual report. Specifically, Tianci Materials stated that the net amount of the raised funds after deducting issuance fees will be used for the following projects: Morocco Tianci's annual production of 300000 tons of lithium battery materials project, Texas Tianci's annual production of 200000 tons of electrolyte project, Sichuan Meishan Tianci's annual production of 300000 tons of electrolyte project, Guangdong Jiangmen Tianci's annual production of 200000 tons of lithium-ion battery electrolyte project, and supplementary working capital project.

On the same day, Tianci Materials also announced that due to the impact of global economic downturn, limited personnel and material flow, as well as changes in the investment environment and policies in the Czech Republic, the company's early work on the Czech project was difficult to advance, and the overall project progress was slow. Based on the overall strategic development plan of the company, as well as objective environmental conditions such as international investment environment and policy changes, the company has made planning adjustments to the strategy of exporting electrolytes to Europe. Currently, the company has cooperated to establish the first OEM factory in Europe, and plans to build production capacity in Morocco, which has a relatively stable economic policy environment, to prepare the company for better service and expansion in the European market. Therefore, the company has decided to terminate the Czech Tianci's annual production of 100000 tons of lithium battery electrolyte project (Phase I) and deregister the Czech Tianci.

In addition, according to the semi annual report disclosed by Tianci Materials, the company achieved a revenue of 7.987 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year decrease of 22.93%; Realized a net profit attributable to the parent company of 1.288 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 55.67%; Basic earnings per share are 0.68 yuan.
