12 billion battery grade lithium carbonate project started

According to Zhicun Lithium, on January 16, the launching ceremony of Xinjiang Zhicun New Energy Material Project with an annual output of 120000 tons of battery grade lithium carbonate was held.
The project is invested and constructed by Xinjiang Zhicun Lithium Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinjiang Zhicun Lithium Industry"), a subsidiary of Zhicun Lithium Industry, with a total investment of 12 billion yuan, and a new intelligent production base of battery grade lithium carbonate with an annual output of 120000 tons. The project will be constructed in two phases, each of which will produce 60000 tons of battery grade lithium carbonate annually.
In addition, the project with an annual output of 20000 tons of lithium carbonate invested and constructed by Yizhang Zhicun New Materials, a subsidiary of Zhicun Lithium, recently held a launching ceremony in Yizhang Fluorochemical Recycling Industrial Development Zone, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. With a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, the project has a production line with an annual output of 20000 tons of lithium carbonate, a production line with an annual output of 20000 tons of lithium fluoride, a production line for comprehensive utilization of tailings and supporting facilities.
According to the data, Zhicun Lithium is mainly engaged in mineral washing and processing, mineral processing, battery manufacturing, battery sales, resource recycling technology research and development, new material technology research and development, etc. It indirectly controls 90% of Jinhui Lithium, and holds a comprehensive production capacity of 20000 tons of lithium carbonate from lithium mica.
